The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Smithville Elementary March 2-6! Students will be able to shop during their scheduled library time during the week of March 2-6. Get ready for the big event by setting up a Book Fair eWallet for your child. It's the easy way for kids to shop independently for books they want to read. Smithville Elementary would like to recognize our Students of the Month for January. These students were selected for their outstanding character, academics, and other traits that make them an all-around excellent student. Selected as Students of the Month for January are:

Smithville Elementary is proud to announce our Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Christina Merriman! She has been selected by her peers for this honor, and is very well deserving. Mrs. Christina goes above and beyond each day to instill in her students a love of learning and works hard to ensure that every student in her classroom is successful. She has an exceptional ability to connect with students, making learning both engaging and meaningful. We are incredibly proud to have her as a part of the faculty at Smithville Elementary.
