Smithville Elementary would like to recognize our Students of the Month for April. These students were selected for their outstanding character, academics, and other traits that make them an all-around excellent student. Selected as Students of the Month for April are:

Kindergarten – Briar Pack, Gerardo Rico
1st Grade – Phoenix Presley, Alejandra Gutierrez 
2nd Grade – Dani Frazee, Luke Young

Tina Gash, Teacher of the Month
Smithville Elementary would like to recognize our Teacher of the Month for April, Mrs. Tina Gash. SES recognizes one teacher each month for his/her outstanding performance in teaching and their contribution to the students at our school. The teacher of the month is selected by the administration at Smithville Elementary.

Some of Mrs. Gash's many compliments from her coworkers include:

cat cash heroes for 3rd nine weeks
Smithville Elementary is proud to announce our cat cash heroes for the third nine weeks! These students earned the most cat cash in their grade level. Cat cash is earned for good behavior, and is given out by all of the adults in the building.  The cat cash heroes for the third nine weeks are:
